Participation Playbook
How can youth participation in cultural projects be organised creatively and sustainably? The Participation Playbook brings together methods, experiences and results from the Erasmus+ youth exchange programme C the Unseen in Chemnitz. It provides practical examples of how cultural institutions can work with young people to build trust, develop ideas and co-creatively realise projects.

42 young people from six countries used the Design Thinking and Theory U methods to develop five prototypes for new forms of youth participation - from apps and toolkits to branding and mindfulness concepts. They have documented the process and their results.

How to Keep Blooming
The workshop "How to Keep Blooming" as part of the Betonblühen Festival 2025 brought together young festival organisers, cultural managers and representatives of youth work from Chemnitz, Tartu, Budweis and other cities. The result is an impulse paper that discusses a key question for the cultural future of Europe: How can young people be active, motivated and encouraged to help shape their cities through cultural engagement in the long term?
