The project connected generations and fashion: tailors who had once worked in the GDR reactivated their craftsmanship to develop and produce new fashion creations together with young people. This collection was then presented in public spaces in fashion shows, exhibitions and performances, making reference to the region's history.

Workshops took place from February to June, followed by exhibitions and presentations that were on show until the end of November. The Europe-wide fashion label UNKNOWN BASICS from Chemnitz, the Faculty of Applied Arts in Schneeberg and the textile hub in the Esche Museum in Limbach-Oberfrohna supported the project, as did numerous regional companies and former production sites.
