For 23 days, the market in Oederan became the town's cultural centre. Many players joined forces to create a programme for everyone: exhibitions, sculpture and graffiti workshops, concerts ranging from Bohemian brass band music to world music, the "My World" photo exhibition, the Fashion Revolution clothes swap, a reading marathon, the summer church, theatre for young and old, the World Championships, hands-on days at the folk art school, Kenyan food and Saxon cakes.
