International Festival for Contemporary Dance
For ten years, choreographers from all over the world have been presenting their productions of very different dance styles in classical evening performances, but also on the streets of the city. At the Odyssey in C, the audience embarked on a journey of discovery through the city: there was a dance spectacle at 18 stations - inspired by the century-old novel "Ulysses" by James Joyce.

At 18 locations between the Markersdorf Oasis and the Karl Marx Monument, Sonnenberg and the opera house, a dance spectacle inspired by James Joyce's novel of the century "Ulysses" was created for the duration of one day. The performances were repeated from 26 to 29 June. Ballett Chemnitz and invited artists developed a specific choreography for each location.
