International Light Art Festival

For the third time, Light our Vision transforms Chemnitz into a shining work of art.Light artists from all over Europe illuminate buildings and areas, awakening a longing for more: more colour and courage in public space design, more vision in urban planning, and more willingness to transform. The festival sees itself as a catalyst for a vision of urban development.

Picnic at Schloßteich with a diverse programme
[27 September 2025, 12pm-6pm]
Come and eat at my table is a big city picnic on and around the castle pond. Everyone can bring something to eat and share with each other. There is a varied programme for children: colouring pictures and 3D papercraft templates to make, a colouring wall for future pictures, face painting and dancing.
