A week of exercise and cross-sport togetherness

Over 85 sports are on offer in Chemnitz, many of which you can try out this week. Like speed skating, albeit on a slippery mat instead of on ice. Or wheelchair basketball, where everyone is allowed to use a sports wheelchair. If you fancy doing sport in a group, you can join one of the city’s many tours – hiking, inline skating, or a balance bike for the little ones – and discover Chemnitz and the region in one. For the finale, a team of the Chemnitz district will compete against former Fortuna players from Chemnitz’s twin city, Düsseldorf.
