Makerfestival Erzgebirge
Craft. Print. Saw. Chat. Laser-engrave. Be amazed!

A whole day of hands-on fun! At the Makerfestival Erzgebirge, makers come together and impart their specific knowledge in a very practical way. At various hands-on stations, our guests from young to old create and experiment on the market square and around the ‘Muhme Campus’, breathe new life into old materials, build useful and decorative items for everyday life and immerse themselves in digital worlds.
After the Makerfestival Erzgebirge 2023 made a stop in Zwönitz and 2024 in Schneeberg, Lößnitz will be the host in the Capital of Culture year 2025!
When? 23. August 2025
Where? Lößnitz, Marktplatz
Lößnitz MAKERS – #diemacherei e.V., Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft

What visitors can expect at the Makerfestival
The day begins at 10 a.m. with a communal breakfast on the market square. Lots of chairs, a variety of delicacies and an open atmosphere invite you to arrive and socialise. The idea: everyone brings something to eat or drink - and shares it with others or is surprised by what their neighbours have brought.
Jam, cake, bread, spread and much more. True to the motto: ‘Lößnitz serves up’ - a convivial start to a day full of ideas, encounters and creative energy.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the market square and the area around the ‘Muhme Campus’ will be transformed into a large hands-on area. Numerous stands invite visitors to try out, create and discover.
Ore Mountain tradition meets the creative ideas of tomorrow.
