Hear to C

They exist all over Europe - free, non-commercial radio stations that make local stories audible. This has also been a reality in Chemnitz for over 35 years: Radio T broadcasts music, opinions and stories from the region.

With the Hear to C project, Radio T is now becoming an open sound laboratory. We are looking for courageous tinkerers, quiet doers and creative minds. Away from the mainstream, Hear to C collects stories from the neighbourhoods of Chemnitz - directly from local life. As part of the project, the monthly programme ‘behind the sCenes’ is created, in which actors from Chemnitz 2025 have their say. In workshops and at live radio events, everyone is invited to step up to the microphone and try out making radio themselves - experimentally, diversely, together.
