Graffiti and Street Art
This exhibition displays works by several dozen artists from Europe and the U.S. who started out as graffiti or street artists but have since embraced other techniques. Their paintings, photographs, illustrations, designs, music, and fashion fill a hall of over 5,000 square metres. Murals will also appear in an array of public places throughout the city. This exhibition will be supplemented by performances and artist talks.

Hallenkunst leaves large-scale artistic impressions on the cityscape - a lasting reminder of the Capital of Culture year. International artists, who show their works at the Hallenkunst exhibition, have immortalised themselves on Chemitz building facades with huge murals.
