"Die Zöllner" were already on stage at the Würfel in the 80s.
Even back then, their style and music made them the perfect match for the Würfel audience. 36 years later, the reunion at the familiar venue has the charm of a class reunion. Everything is new - and yet familiar.

They perform as "Die Zöllner im Duo Infernale" and draw on a huge pool of songs they have in common - intimate, humorous and musically versatile. They combine musical virtuosity with spontaneous stories, creating a particularly personal live experience.

Dirk Zöllner, born in 1962 in East Berlin, and André Gensicke, born in 1961 in Magdeburg, are two distinguished musicians, known for their collaboration in the bands "Chicorée", "Die Zöllner" and "Die Zöllner im Trio Infernale". Die Zöllner have been synonymous with soulful grooves as well as rock and pop music since the 80s. Together they combine honest lyrics with a lot of stage charm. in 1988, they performed at the "Beat Apartheid" festival as James Brown's support act and have since played more than 1,000 concerts. For example, they also performed in front of an audience of millions at the Brandenburg Gate on the 40th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
