For the soundtrack of the film "Lonig & Havendel", musician Florian Illing from the Erzgebirge combines the folkloric sounds of the Erzgebirge zither with the gentle tones of the Vietnamese one-string instrument Đàn Bầu. In this workshop, he will demonstrate live how the sound recordings from the previous workshop can be used to create an atmospheric film soundtrack using simple means.
The workshop will be held in German.

Florian Illing (he/him), born in Annaberg-Buchholz in 1995, has been singing in choirs since he was a child and has been an active musician since 2010 (initially with the singer-songwriter project "project rainfall"). In the meantime, he has written the music for several theatre productions. Since 2016 he has been active as a songwriter, performer and producer in the band "Baumarkt". from 2018 to 2021, he studied for a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Engineering at SAE Leipzig. Other projects include the theatre production "Point of No Return" by Elisa Künast in 2023, "Tupilak" in 2021 and the film "Lonig & Havendel" in 2025. As a songwriter and producer, he has worked with acts such as Saló, Ducks on Drugs, Pogendroblem, Jens Ausderwäsche and many more.
