Wordclock workshop - "your own time in words"

A word clock doesn't display the time with hands or numbers, but instead writes it out as glowing words - a real eye-catcher for your own home.

Together with up to 12 participants, we solder, screw and tinker. Even if you have no soldering experience, all participants are welcome, as you will be shown step by step how everything works. A little patience is important, however, as it takes around two to four hours to build a word clock, depending on experience.

People aged 12 and over can take part. Younger hobbyists should bring an adult with them, as it gets hot at the soldering station!

The workshop will be led by Nick from Sternenlabor Plauen, who will be on hand with help and advice.
