Choreographer Noa Wertheim's new dance piece is dedicated to light. Together with her ensemble, she explores the space in the breath, somewhere between inside and outside, between the desire to fly and the longing to return home—always connected to the earth, the light-giving "mana," and the healing. To this end, she brings a unique spiralling movement to the stage, gaining energetic momentum and transforming into an expression of refinement and self-acceptance, combining a sense of lack with inspiration to fill and fulfil. Under Wertheim's artistic direction, the Vertigo Dance Company, founded in 1992, has built up an international reputation with an impressive repertoire of original works and a distinctive dance language.
