Artistic storytelling for adults

On this evening, the fascinating places of Brittany, Provence, Camargue and Paris are travelled through in ninety minutes. The French-German storyteller Odile Néri-Kaiser makes it possible on a fabulous tour de France. With charming ease and perfect sense of direction, she whisks the audience away to remote corners of France and enchants them with lore and myths as well as stories from the here and now. Andreas Zöllner will be her expert travelling companion with his guitar. An evening for all those who enjoy travelling and sitting comfortably.

"It's a special treat, even for people who don't speak French, when she switches from German to French without ever interrupting the narrative flow. "

(also on October 4th at the Kulturbahnhof Kassel)

Odile Néri-Kaiser is a storyteller, trainer and technical director of the international, multilingual storytelling workshop in the "House of Stories" at the parents' seminar organised by the Youth Welfare Office of the City of Stuttgart. Trained as a teacher in France, she learnt the art of storytelling from Agnes Chavanon (AMAC). Since then, she has been travelling for over 30 years as a storyteller and initiator of numerous projects. in 1999, she received the UN Peace Prize for the "Pont - the Bridge" project. in 2010, she initiated the association "Ars Narrandi e.V. ... wenn Worte wandern ...". In 2021, she received the Meiningen Fairy Tale and Legend Award for her services to the art of storytelling.

Andreas Zöllner was born in Halle (Saale) in 1963 into a family of church musicians. After taking piano lessons, he became self-taught on the guitar, to which he remains faithful. In addition to working as a librarian at the church music school for ten years, he founded a recording studio in the early 1990s. From 1991 to 2013, he was a member of the ensemble "Das Blaue Einhorn", where he found his professional centre for a long time. He then began a new life as a singer-songwriter, both as a soloist and as a duo, releasing numerous CDs. He passes on his knowledge and experience, not only in the musical field, in workshops.
