The Questions

The multi-part project creates intergenerational encounters through performance, dialogue and cultural exchange. The focus is on international cooperation between the twin cities of Manchester and Chemnitz.

Event information

Date & Time

In the "Building of Spines" part, an artist and an author create a book by hand within seven days. The content is conversations with people in the city library. The section "Would Like to Meet" brings together artists from Chemnitz and Manchester from different generations. And "Telescope" is a new performance work without professional actors. The central question between teenagers and older people is: "What can you teach me?" By questioning social divisions, THE QUESTIONS creates relationships and networks between people, places, artists and institutions - across generations.
