A theatrical bus ride through the "working-class city" of Chemnitz: the audience travels in an old Ikarus bus past the Karl-Marx-Kopf, factories, the football stadium - typical places of the working-class city. But isn't there more to it than that?
"The bus already left" shows female perspectives on the topic of work: What is work? What does the daily working environment look like? And what do feelings have to do with work?
The bus journey is organised by women/FLINTA* who live in Chemnitz or the surrounding area. They play their own stories in leading or minor roles and add important perspectives to the narrative about Chemnitz!
Guests can expect music, dance, puppet theatre and performance in unusual and special locations.
The audience experiences a varied look at work.
The performance lasts around 3 hours.
After the bus journey, there will be an opportunity to talk about the performance over a drink in the Weltecho and find out more about the background to the project.
