The exhibition opening will be accompanied by music from Mathis Stendike and Portuguese songs, while the Lila Villa women's centre presents its 2026 calendar together with Wortgut Chemnitz.

Women in Chemnitz and the Alentejo in Portugal were visited for a year, listened to and portrayed in poetic texts and photographs. Franziska Kurz accompanied the project and captured the women in her pictures. Anja Hüttner created the portraits in Portugal, while Katja Schwalenberg captured everything in form and beauty.
Participants from Chemnitz: Jens Ausderwäsche, Frieda Friedemann, Sabine Hochmuth, Mica Kempe, Franziska Kurz, Sylke Lange and Susanne Weiss. Participants from Portugal: Maria de Fátima Lopes, Clàudia Nobre, Stéphanie Noël, Nelia Patalim and Constança Santos.
