Author Stefan Tschök is visiting all 38 cities and municipalities along the PURPLE PATH in 2025. There, he will not only present his book "Was? Chemnitz?!"(Paperento Verlag), a tongue-in-cheek instruction manual for the Capital of Culture, but will also engage in dialogue with the residents: What do the local residents actually gain from the Capital of Culture title? What do they get out of it - and how can they get involved?

These questions are at the centre of the panel discussion, in which guests from the town always provide answers - and the audience is also invited to take part. In addition to Tschök, Frederic Günther, Managing Director of the Association of Erzgebirge Artisans and Toy Manufacturers, and Genia Schlesier from the "Denkstatt Erzgebirge" project will be on hand to provide information at the "Denkstatt Erzgebirge". The works of art at the PURPLE PATH will also be discussed.

Weather permitting, the event will take place in the garden next to the house.
