Take a dip! Big Jump Chemnitz 2025 ~ Neighbourhood park at Pleißenbach

For the European River Bathing Day Big Jump, the neighbourhood park on the Pleißenbach will be celebrated as a new recreational area on the river of Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 in a family-friendly way.

With the "Big Jump Chemnitz 2025", Chemnitz is taking part in the Europe-wide River Bathing Day for the first time - a symbolic start and call to use the newly created bank areas of the intervention areas and dive into the natural water on site. Over 60 other Big Jumps across Europe are celebrating this international day.

Children's party with Copyphon ~ Painting competition "We by the river" & handicrafts ~ Waffle ice cream

 

Please bring along: Picnic & blanket, swimwear and slippers are highly recommended.

 

A Big Jump photo will be taken at around 3 pm and will be published.
