Take a dip! Big Jump Chemnitz 2025 in the former river pool Altchemnitz

The former Altchemnitz river baths are celebrated as the completed intervention area "Stadt am Fluss". On the European River Bathing Day Big Jump is put into operation as intended.

With the "Big Jump Chemnitz 2025", Chemnitz is taking part in the Europe-wide River Bathing Day for the first time - a symbolic start and call to use the newly created bank areas of the intervention areas and dive into the natural water on site. Over 60 other Big Jumps across Europe are taking part in this international day.

Extract from the programme:

- Relax in the city park,

- Relaxing in the green and blue

- Pictures of the old river pool

- Painting competition "We by the river"

What to bring: Picnic & blanket, swimwear and bathing shoes are highly recommended. You are also welcome to bring games such as badminton or a musical instrument.

A Big Jump photo will be taken around 3 p.m., which will be published.
