Is mining in the Ore Mountains just history? Not quite, as various companies are planning to mine ore again in the mining region. Last November, a new mining operation was authorised in Schwarzenberg. Thanks to the increasing demand for raw materials worldwide, it is worth exploiting the Ore Mountains again. But what impact will this new mining operation have on the Ore Mountains and its inhabitants?

We want to discuss this as part of the mining exhibition Silberglanz & Kumpeltod.
