Ruediger Glatz (*1975, Heidelberg) is known for publications such as Backflashes, The New Black and Tomorrow Ain`t Promised. His artistic path began in the 1990s as a graffiti writer and led him to photography and video works.

The presentation of his new publication KAMENICA will be staged as a performance in which a large print folder takes centre stage. Accompanied by an actor and a sound installation, the audience will be involved in a visual, haptic and acoustic experience. The aim is to present the black and white illustrated book KAMENICA interactively and immersively as a work of art and homage to Chemnitz.

The pictures by photographer Ruediger Glatz were taken as part of the HALLENKUNST project and his residency in Chemnitz. The publication, published by Kehrer Verlag, focuses on architectural details of Chemnitz and portrays the historical and cultural transformation of the city.
