JonnyGuy was born on the west coast of Cape Town in South Africa and sailed the seven seas with his father in his early youth. Naturally, he ended up on the shores of the Caribbean, where the true inspiration for his music began. He lives in St Maarten and produces a genre of music that blurs the lines between tropical indie and reggae influences. His music conveys messages about how to accept the ups and downs of life.
