Opening of the artistic interventions of the Dialogue Field 3 residency programme

Klub Solitaer e.V. is organising the "Dialogue Fields" residency programme as part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Three international artists are invited to live in Chemnitz for six weeks at a time and work on the theme of favour.

Denise Lee / 李筑 (USA/Hong Kong/Taiwan) and Philipp Kolychev (Czech Republic) have been guests at Sonnenberg since 11 July. They are living here, getting to know the city and its people and developing new artistic ideas. They will be accompanied by the Chemnitz artist Anne Schädlich, who is developing her own artistic position in response to the guests.

Saturday, 16 August, 4 pm
A joint walk through the Sonnenberg neighbourhood.
The intervention week will be launched on 16 August , during which the results of the five-week residency will be presented. The works will be visited on site on a short tour together with the artists in residence. There will also be an opportunity to talk to the artists. The tour starts at 16:00 at Lokomov in Augustusburger Str. 102.

The works developed during the residency will be on display for one week until 23 August. In addition, curatorial tours will take place on the following dates:

Monday 17.8. at 11 am
Thursday 21.8. at 5 pm
Saturday 23.8. at 11 am
