The sculpture ‘Testa Addormentata’ by Igor Mitoraj can be seen in the Oederan Museum in 2025. The exhibition offers an insight into the life of the artist and the history of the town, accompanied by a graphic novel about Mitoraj, which was created by pupils. The current status of the project can be viewed. Participation is encouraged.
The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent contemporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38 communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
