Hands-on day at the folk art school: If you don't have time, space or tools for creating art at home - you can make it here. Tyre animals are a traditional craft in the Erzgebirge. They were once a toy in many children's rooms. Today, you can choose, carve and paint the tyre animal yourself.
Carver Mike Glöckner will provide expert instruction on how to handle the carving knife and how to treat the wood so that it can be carved.
