The contribution of the Capital of Culture programme Living Neighbourhood to the Begehungen art festival is a conversation between neighbours and a concert. Jan Kummer, Yaneq and Dr Julia Naunin are on the trail of the question of how neighbourly and other interactions release energy. The focus is on three perspectives: Jan Kummer gives insights into the Chemnitz neighbourhood between music and visual arts, Yaneq explains perceptions that play a role in his latest album "Reime und lose Gedanken" and explains the podcast series 'Osten vom Westen'. Julia Naunin understands neighbourhood in Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 in a varied way and reports on neighbours who shape their living space together in planting campaigns as well as in dazzling show moments and song presentations. Afterwards, two concerts will continue what can perhaps be expressed more musically, in a concert by the Chemnitz band Daffke Duo and a concert by Yaneq.
