These days focus on creative projects by and for young people. The aim is to make the cultural interests and forms of expression of young people between the ages of 14 and 27 in Saxon municipalities with up to 40,000 inhabitants visible.
im:puls is a project of the Saxony State Association for Cultural Child and Youth Education (LKJ), funded by the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs, Health and Social Cohesion. The Saxon Night of Youth Cultures can include all cultural activities with active participation, e.g. DJ workshops, song contests, dance formats, exhibitions, concerts or creative reorganisations. The events take place in decentralised locations throughout Saxony, a map of the participating events can be found on the project website https://ndjk.de/
A special focus in 2025 will be on cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Young people from places with up to 40,000 inhabitants in the cultural region are particularly invited to take part.
