For the Imagine Festival, all four façades and the four sides of the atrium of the school on Hartmannplatz are to be hung with banners. So far, 320 of the seven metre long banners have been created in around 50 workshop weeks. Around 1250 children and young people have spent over 40,000 hours working on the pieces over the last few years. The length of all the banners and posters is around 3,400 metres - also a world record attempt.

Since 2011, young people have been designing banners and posters for the Chemnitz Peace Day as a symbol of peaceful and tolerant coexistence in the "Aktion C" art project.

From 8:00-12:00, schools can spray their messages of peace on covered fence panels on the forecourt of the school. The finished banners will then be hung up on Hartmannplatz for all to see.Registration and participation in the graffiti workshop is only possible for pupils.

For the Imagine Festival and during the entire period of the presentation of the peace banners (23 June - 8 August 2025), guided tours are possible by prior arrangement: aktionc@gmx.de.
