How to Keep Blooming - Panel: Youth participation beyond the Capital of Culture year

How can youth participation continue to bloom after the Capital of Culture year? This is the question posed by the international panel "How to Keep Blooming", which is taking place as part of the Betonblühen festival. Stakeholders from the European Capitals of Culture Tartu 2024, České Budějovice 2028 and Chemnitz will discuss structures, challenges and future prospects for sustainable youth participation in Europe together with young cultural professionals .

The discussion will focus on three central topics: the structures of young participation during the European Capital of Culture year, transferable findings from the international Erasmus+ youth exchange project "C the Unseen", which took place in April 2025, and the question of how long-term participation can be ensured through institutional support and sustainable framework conditions.
