Workshop leader Pia Hackner is a trained carpenter and studied wood design, furniture and product design at the Schneeberg University of Applied Arts. She is active in the Erzgebirge maker network, founded the "NEUSCHNEE" project, opened a shop, offers workshops and loves working with people from a wide range of professional fields.
The workshop is part of the event series "333 Stunden Werkstatt der Wunder", a project within the framework of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, which is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget adopted by the Saxon state parliament and by federal funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as well as funds from the City of Chemnitz.
