10.30 - 13.30: Writing workshop for young authors with Arna Aley, literature scholarship holder of the City of Chemnitz 2022/23 (Lithuania) and Stefan Hornbach, literature scholarship holder 2024 (Chemnitz)

Stefan Heym Dinner:
6pm - 11pm: Stefan Heym dinner in the Spiegelsaal of the "Chemnitzer Hof" hotel. A literary and culinary evening in honour of Stefan Heym. The choice of dishes is based on Stefan Heym's favourites. Conception and moderation: Dr Ulrike Uhlig (Honorary President of the International Stefan Heym Society). Anecdotes about the writer, short excerpts from his works, quotes from contemporary witnesses and musical accompaniment by Andreas Winkler (violin) will round off the evening.
