The weaving frame? A construction fence! The material? Collected textile materials from Oederan and the surrounding area! The master weaver? All interested and enthusiastic people.

Anyone and everyone can take part in the project led by designer Henriette Helmstedt. Whether from 1 to 5 pm or just for an hour in between. The technique of weaving is easy to master without any previous knowledge. The effect in the large construction fence field is stunning.


Donations of materials are welcome: (old) fabrics, bed linen and clothing that can be easily torn into strips. Hand them in at the museum DIE WEBEREI or simply bring them with you.
