Five days, over 16 events, around 300 creative guests - SLAM25 brings the elite of European stage literature to Chemnitz.
Poets from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Italy (South Tyrol) bring their best texts to the city's stages - passionate, trenchant, moving. This makes SLAM25 the largest festival for stage literature in Europe.

A highlight of the festival: the team slam.
This rare and therefore all the more exciting discipline of poetry slam thrives on the joint performance: two (or more) slam poets present self-written texts as a duo - with wit, vigour and full stage presence. Join us in welcoming teams from all over the DACH region and experience how the format is pushed to its limits on stage.

The tension increases in the semi-finals.
After a high-calibre preliminary round, the strongest teams compete against each other again - with one goal: the grand final at the Chemnitz Opera House. This is where it will be decided who will secure the legendary title of International German-speaking Team Champions.
