Five days, over 16 events, around 300 creative guests - SLAM25 brings Europe's stage literature elite to Chemnitz.
Poets from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Italy (South Tyrol) present their best texts on the city's stages - passionate, trenchant, touching. This makes SLAM25 the largest festival for stage literature in Europe.
The tension rises in the semi-finals.
After a first, already high-class preliminary round, the best of the scene compete against each other again - with the aim of reaching the final in the Stadthalle Chemnitz and winning the most important title in the German-language slam scene. The finalists have already included greats such as André Herrmann, Hazel Brugger, Tanasgol Sabbagh, Marc-Uwe Kling, Sebastian 23, Moritz Neumeier, Lisa Christ, Jan Philipp Zymny and Jean-Philippe Kindler.
Rousing performances, great emotions - and perhaps the start of a great career that will have a lasting impact on the stage landscape.
