Location
Chemnitz, railway museum and Neumarkt
Schauplatz Eisenbahn, Frankenberger Straße 172, 09131 Chemnitz and Neumarkt Chemnitz, 09111 Chemnitz
In the ambience of the railway museum in Chemnitz, trombone choirs from the Czech Republic, Saxony and Bavaria will spend a day exchanging ideas on brass work and cooperation at association level. There will also be a direct exchange between the music groups.
The individual participants have the opportunity to make music themselves, exchange ideas with others, learn new things and listen to music. Many wind players bring their families with them, so there are also all-day activities for children and guests.
Project partners are the Saxon Trombone Mission (SPM), the Friends of the SPM, the Association of Protestant Trombone Choirs in Bavaria, instrument manufacturers in the region, music publishers and other partners associated with music.
At 4 pm, all participants will play a brass serenade at Neumarkt Chemnitz and in the evening MVSICA BRASS and Jens Uhlenhoff will play a concert. As no other guests can attend the concert due to lack of space, it will be repeated on the following Sunday 14 September at 5 pm in St. Petrikirche.
