The Erzgebirge/Krušnohoři mining region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019, with a total of 22 World Heritage components. The approx. 9 km long hike leads through two of them - the historic old town of Marienberg and the Lauta mining landscape and includes a visit to the Lauta horse farm with a guided tour by the staff there. The event takes place as part of the "17th Mineral Day at the Lauta Horse Gump". During the lunch break, there will be an opportunity to take a look at what is on offer.

The special highlight of the tour: participation in the opening of the photo exhibition "Das abgewandte Portrait" by artist Corina Gertz, an art exhibition of the Purple Path at 3 pm. Alongside Stefan Schmidtke and Alexander Ochs, the artist herself will be on site.
