"Woven images come closest to dreamed images. Because weaving is like dreaming. " This credo of the artist Ulrich Reimkasten is reassuring. Every installation, no matter how impressive, is dismantled at some point. But the pictures remain.

A free hanging of 30 works of art opens up a walk-in installation in the air for visitors. Large formats dominate and the quality of the material and colour of the textiles can be experienced directly. Ulrich Reimkasten emphasises the close connection between painting and weaving in the spirit of classical picture weaving.

Art educator Dr Joachim Penzel from Halle/Saale will be in conversation with the artist at the final opening.
