Film series "Focus2025: Generations" - final film of choice

For the grand finale of the series, you have until 29 October to vote for one of the following two films to be shown at the cinema.

The choices are:

• ‘Röbi geht’ (Röbi Leaves), a Swiss documentary film, 88 minutes,
• ‘The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared’, a Swedish road movie comedy, 114 minutes.

You are cordially invited to the special film series ‘Focus 2025: Generations’ at the Metropol cinema in Chemnitz! Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film over light refreshments.

In addition, the European Film Festival of Generations will take place from October to the end of November, featuring popular films from the series as well as new films.

The film series is an initiative of the ‘Team Generation’ of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH and the Metropol Cinema Chemnitz. The aim is to strengthen intergenerational connections in the community through a special cinema experience for older people. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing many wonderful film moments together.
