Special screening at the Greifensteine drive-in cinema: The film "Lonig & Havendel" will be shown at the end of the Vietnamese-East German event series - made with the support of numerous actors and communities from the cultural area. The screening will take place in a special location: on a screen stretched directly over the original film location, the Greifensteine leisure pool.
To get the audience in the mood, a surprise pre-film relating to the Vietnamese diaspora will be shown.
Film description:
To see snow and learn German, Trúc Lâm is in a small mountainous town in the Ore Mountains. On an excursion to a mine, she gets lost on the other side of the mountain. She follows a singer into the forest, who sings his concerts for the trees.
In the town on the other side lives Duc, the son of a Vietnamese family who run an "Asian snack bar". When Duc finds his long-lost mobile phone, he receives some dodgy text messages.
While Duc tries to write a song, Trúc Lâm enlists the help of a ghost to find his way back.
