Entdeckerkids: Secret passageways, forgotten stories and exciting places - discover Schneeberg together! The participants plan their own tour of the town and invent their own personal discovery route. You can take part on any day - or just on the ones that suit you! If you want, you can simply continue exploring after the summer! Age: 9-15 years

Clip it! Whether from below, at an angle or in super zoom - experiment with cool perspectives and learn how to edit short videos in a really exciting way. At the end, the children will have their own clip in social media style - creative, fast and to the point! Age: from 12 years (with lunch included)

Crazy smudged: Colours flow, heads go crazy - in this workshop, colourful characters are conjured up on paper with brushes, straws, sponges and co. to create weird heads. Age: from 6 years

Print a biscuit: How is a 3D print actually made? This workshop immerses you in the technology - layer by layer, your knowledge grows. The self-developed and drawn shapes are realised directly with our "biscuit printer". Technology you can touch - and bite into! Age: from 10 years (with lunch catering)

Fancy taking part? Register for the workshops by email (info@kulturwerk-schneeberg.de) by 8 July. All information such as the exact programme and venue will then be shared by email.

Makerhubs

Nine Makerhubs in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region will become places where people can learn from each other and create something new together. They are also places where designers, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, the next generation of skilled workers and makers from all over the world come together. Visitors and creative tourists can experience regional culture and traditions at workshops. The Makerhubs are part of the Makers, Business & Arts programme. This main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is all about promoting creative tourism offerings and cross-sector collaboration between industry and creative professionals. The project is being implemented by the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH in cooperation with the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V.
