Tam and Cam are sisters. But their mum only likes Cam. And ... as is so often the case, Tam has to do all the work around the house. Of course, she is only allowed to go to the young king's ball once she has sorted all the beans ... You know the fairy tale? "Cinderella"? - No, it's called "Tam and Cam" and it's told in Vietnamese and German. And with hands and feet. And that's how some differences are discovered!

Nguyen Le Linh came to Germany at the age of 7 and grew up here. After school, she completed a degree and now works in a software company. Her Vietnamese roots are an important part of her identity. She performs with her children in stage programmes at Vietnamese festivals. In this way, she preserves the Vietnamese language and customs not only for herself and her children, but also lovingly combines the Asian and European worlds.

Uta Davids grew up in Pulsnitz. She graduated from drama school in Berlin and became a puppeteer. She performed in front of audiences with fairytale programmes at the Wismar Theatre and then as a freelancer. Her favourite way to tell legends and historical stories is on guided tours of the town and during herb walks.

Performers: Nguyen Le Linh (VNM/D) & Uta Davids (D)
