The visual artist and camerawoman Donata Wenders has created a series of film miniatures entitled "Ode to Craftsmanship", in which she portrays Saxon craftspeople. As a rule, the focus is not on the individual, but on their craftsmanship. A blue weaver is joined by a shoemaker, a potter, a blacksmith, a papermaker and the Erzgebirge maker of the cult instrument bandoneon from Chemnitz. Portraits of the Schneeberg glove maker Nils Bergauer and the nutcracker maker Markus Füchtner in Seiffen have now also been created for the "PURPLE PATH".
