Concert: Kamenica Musica

As part of the Kamenica Musica project, which is creating a musical trail in Chemnitz, pupils from the Zespót Szkót Muzycznych im. Stanisława Moniuszki in Łódź have teamed up with pupils from the Johannes Kepler Grammar School in Chemnitz and organised a student exchange. In May, the Polish pupils visited us to see the Museum Night, the ballet and other cultural events in Chemnitz. All this in between their visits to the grammar school and joint rehearsals with Chemnitz pupils. A joint concert at the Industrial Museum is the crowning glory of their stay. Not only will connections be forged through music and friendship, but the similar history of the cities of Chemnitz and Łódź will also be brought to life: Industry, advancement, culture and encounters are tangibly connecting on this evening, despite the national borders.
