The Diversity Programme of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH invites all interested parties involved in shaping intercultural coexistence in Chemnitz to a BIG TABLE discussion.

In addition to representatives of migrant self-organisations and artists and cultural workers, employees from the Capital of Culture Office and representatives from the Capital of Culture year flagships "3000 Garages" and "Living Neighbourhoods" will be present. 

In terms of content, the focus will be on the OPEN COMMUNITY KITCHENS, finding the right locations, hands-on activities and an accompanying artistic programme. The aim is to develop ideas together on how the topic of diversity can be brought to life as part of the Capital of Culture year and beyond.

The OPEN COMMUNITY KITCHENS are various participation formats at different locations in Chemnitz, organised by two migrant associations/organisations. With a view to Eastern Europe and beyond, we open up unseen places to culinary and artistic-active locations and invite all makers to participate.
