How can we make Chemnitz a city where everyone feels welcome? What ideas and perspectives contribute to inclusive coexistence? The "C.munities" event series invites you to discuss relevant topics such as racism, anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim racism and issues of coexistence together. Organisations, associations, initiatives, multipliers and interested individuals from Chemnitz and Saxony are welcome to participate in these issues.
On the one hand, we are organising an assembly advisory board; on the other, we are building a social dialogue body and with it a non-partisan network for participation, cohesion and democratic structures. The event is designed to be participatory: Participants contribute their own experiences, develop solutions together and actively shape the future work of the Assembly and social networking in Chemnitz.
The workshop offers an open and protected culture of discourse. Our aim is to make marginalised perspectives visible and to discuss sustainable democratic structures and constructive cooperation between different social groups.
Methodology: The event works according to the C.munities communication rules of Prof. Dr Frank Asbrock (TU Chemnitz), which enable respectful discussion and structural development.
Leader: Adam Harfouch
The event will be held in German and English. Interpreting possible if required (please specify when registering).
