In many places, there is talk of "right-wing spaces". It is often unclear what exactly is meant: local claims to power by the radical right, prejudices about the "Brown East" or narratives of a "disconnected country". The book Das Ende rechter Räume (The end of right-wing spaces) explores these images and develops a critical geography of the radical right.

Zita Seichter and Paul Zschocke from the author collective Terra-R will talk about territorialisation, baseball bat years and right-wing Monday protests. Together with Dominik Intelmann from the NSU Documentation Centre, they will shed light on the local practices of commemoration and reappraisal in Chemnitz and Hanau, among other places.

Panel discussion: Zita Seichter, Paul Zschocke and Dominik Intelmann

The event will be held in German. Admission from 6 pm.
