Opening of the 'Harvest' planting festival with AmA - Alles mit Apfel festival

“Alles mit Apfel” /Everything with an apple), or AmA for short, is a festival to open the final planting festival of the Living Neighbourhood programme with over 30 programme items. All planting and care partners as well as all apple lovers and committed people come together. Together with all the institutions based in Tietz, neighbours will open the longest apple pie parade in the city, sing apple hymns, practise apple dances, play serious games in the apple play zone and cook and taste the branded dishes of the main project. An exhibition of apple recipes entitled "an apple a day" will be staged in collaboration with Chemnitz University of Technology and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre, and a reunion with popular artists such as Lasca Fox and Angela Aux will be part of the day's programme, along with many other special features on 12 stages.
