The first Chemnitz rooftop festival

Numerous rooftops high above Chemnitz invited visitors to explore the city from above at the first BUNTE DÄCHER rooftop festival. Art and culture at unusual heights opened up new perspectives on urban life, and the entertaining lingering on previously unseen areas transformed our roofscape into a lively place of community. Organised by the City of Chemnitz, the weekend was used to discuss new potential uses for rooftops, highlight opportunities for sustainable urban development and enable a different view of our own city.
