Chemnitz Heads

In 2025, an exhibition honoured a number of important personalities who had shaped Chemnitz. Sculptor Ulrich Eißner created an impressive gallery of expressive portrait sculptures. Visitors were able to experience an exciting encounter with people whose work had a lasting influence on the city's history - from sporting and artistic legends to personalities from science and culture. The works told stories full of inspiration and gave expression to the uniqueness of Chemnitz. The exhibition invited visitors to discover the city and its extraordinary minds in a new way.
